Suspended Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s alleged misdeeds are like the layers of a putrid onion — with disturbing regularity, his accusers in the Texas House find additional reasons for impeachment.
As detailed in the Texas Tribune, Texas House investigators on Wednesday, allege that Paxton and his pal, developer Nate Paul, devised a really sneaky scheme to cover up their relationship. According to the Tribune, Paxton and Paul allegedly created an Uber account under a fake name, allowing P & P to meet up on the sly. The Uber account also allegedly enabled Paxton to sneak out and meet the lady with whom he was having an extramarital affair.
But wait — there’s more! According to new filings, Paxton wired $122,000 to a Paul company to hide home renovations that Paul had made at no cost to the AG.
