Two volunteers signed up to chair precincts in the North Shore area

Jim Gallagher stepped up to chair Precinct 395, which mainly covers Jonestown, and NSD Treasurer Joan Carney signed on to head up Precinct 280 in southern Lago Vista and Point Venture.

They join veteran Precinct chairs Anne Ochoa (Precinct 282) and Marie Diemer (Precinct 281). Diemer is also our regional superprecinct chair.

(The fifth precinct, 396, is a huge area dominated by the Balcones Canyonlands National Wildlife Refuge. If you live in that area, consider chairing the precinct.)

“We greatly appreciate the work that these four chairs put in to ensure we have safe and fair elections locally,” said NSD President Mike Killalea.
